Kin Konnect Legal Account Deletion

Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Kin Konnect account and all associated data at any time — directly from within the app, or by contacting our support team.

Need help? Email us at kinkonnectapp@gmail.com and we will process your deletion request within 30 days.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)

The quickest way to delete your account is directly from the Kin Konnect app:

  1. Open the Kin Konnect app and sign in.
  2. Tap the Settings icon (bottom navigation bar).
  3. Scroll down to the Account section.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
This action is permanent. Deleting your account immediately removes your profile and cannot be undone. Any active subscription must be cancelled separately through the App Store or Google Play before deletion to stop future charges.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you are unable to access the app, you can request deletion by emailing us at kinkonnectapp@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

Please include the following in your email:

  • The email address associated with your Kin Konnect account.
  • Your display name (if known).
  • The sign-in method you used (email/password, Google, or Apple).

We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted — whether via the app or by email request — the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your user profile (display name, email address, Firebase account).
  • All check-in records and activity history associated with your account.
  • Your family/group memberships and any invite links you created.
  • Notification preferences and device tokens.
  • Any support messages or crash reports linked to your account.
Data we may retain: We may retain anonymised, non-identifiable aggregate data (for example, analytics totals) that cannot be linked back to you. Where required by law, certain records may be kept for up to 90 days before final erasure to satisfy legal or fraud-prevention obligations.

Subscriptions

Deleting your Kin Konnect account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription. To stop being charged you must cancel the subscription separately:

  • Google Play: Open Google Play → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Kin Konnect → Cancel subscription.
  • Apple App Store: Open Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → Kin Konnect → Cancel subscription.
